I’m Jona Xiao and I booked a studio film and TV show within a few months through my direct connections. And my reps will be the first to tell you that my personal connections help me get more auditions.
And I wouldn’t even call myself a great ‘networker’. I used to think it was sleazy, so I’d hide inside pay to play workshops instead of building connections on my own terms.
